This exciting collaboration promises to enhance the Grand World Voyage and Grand Voyage: Pole-to-Pole with interactive culinary sessions and special events designed for food enthusiasts.

Ethan Stowell Brings Pacific Northwest Flavors to the Grand World Voyage

Chef Ethan Stowell, famous for his innovative take on Pacific Northwest cuisine, will join the 124-day Grand World Voyage aboard the Zuiderdam from April 19-25, 2025. Guests will experience live cooking demonstrations, special destination-inspired dinners, and an exclusive pizza event as the ship departs from Naples, Italy. Stowell will also host a “Coffee Chat” where guests can interact with him and gain insight into his culinary philosophy.

Jacques Torres: The Chocolate Maestro on the Grand Voyage: Pole-to-Pole

Acclaimed chocolatier Jacques Torres will bring his expertise to the 133-day Grand Voyage: Pole-to-Pole aboard the Volendam, sailing from April 29 to May 4, 2025. Guests will enjoy interactive chocolate-making demonstrations and dessert tastings, where Torres will share his journey in the world of chocolate. Highlights include the iconic Chocolate Surprise parade and an exclusive dinner at the Pinnacle Grill featuring Torres’ signature desserts.

A Grand Celebration in Barcelona: The Grand Meetup

A special moment occurs on April 24, 2025, when the Volendam and Zuiderdam meet in Barcelona for a unique overnight call. This Grand Meetup will unite the two ships for a celebration featuring a joint dinner, highlighted by a stunning chocolate globe crafted by Chef Torres, symbolizing the global voyage of both ships.
