TUI’s Upcoming Ship Named Mein Schiff Flow

TUI Cruises has announced that their next ship, part of the InTUItion class, will be named Mein Schiff Flow. This 4,000-passenger vessel, a sister ship to the Mein Schiff Relax, is currently being built at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy and is set to launch in 2026.

According to TUI, Mein Schiff Flow is all about escaping the chaos of daily life and rediscovering your inner calm and carefree spirit.

“We’re excited to meet the growing demand for cruises with Mein Schiff Flow. This new ship, our ninth, follows the design of the Mein Schiff Relax,” said Wybcke Meier, CEO of TUI Cruises. “The name ‘Flow’ captures the entire vibe of the ship, where everything is designed to help you unwind and take it easy.”

The ship promises a light, airy design throughout, from the public spaces to the cabins and suites, ensuring guests experience maximum comfort and freedom.

This new addition is part of TUI’s rapid fleet expansion—three new ships in just three years, increasing their total capacity by 60%. Meier emphasized that this growth helps them cater to the rising demand for experience-based cruises, while also attracting new passengers and breaking into fresh markets.

On the environmental side, TUI Cruises is pushing ahead with greener technologies. Both the Mein Schiff Relax and Mein Schiff Flow will be powered by LNG (liquefied natural gas) and equipped with advanced catalytic converters and shore power connections. They’re also designed to switch to low-emission bio-LNG or e-LNG in the future, inching closer to climate-neutral cruising.

The Mein Schiff Flow is set to debut in 2026, while its sister ship, Mein Schiff Relax, will be ready in early 2025 and officially named in Málaga on April 9, 2025.
